Evendale-based GE Aerospace is expanding its presence in southern Ohio with the opening of a manufacturing facility in suburban Dayton. GE Aerospace on May 19 announced the opening a new manufacturing facility in Beavercreek on more than 53 acres at the Miami Valley Research Park. The 280,000-square-foot facility brings in operations from eight locations to one campus, and approximately 400 hourly and salaried employees will be located at the new site by the end of the year. 'We are very excited to begin this new chapter in the same community that we have had a longstanding relationship with for decades,' Brian Debruin, site leader of the facility, said in a news release.
