Updated: 12:15 PM EST Dec 15, 2022 An Ohio bill that would make texting and driving a primary offense is headed to the governor's desk.The Ohio House of Representatives and Ohio Senate passed Senate Bill 288 on Wednesday.The legislation, sponsored by State Rep. Cindy Abrams (R-Harrison) and state Rep. Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek), expands the current language regarding texting and driving.'This is a massive victory for the state of Ohio,' Abrams said in a statement.
