Wright-Patt Credit Union Inc. opened a branch in Canal Winchester on Monday and will open one later this year in Grove City, marking a shift to the suburbs after closing two Columbus locations. The Dayton-area institution closed North High Street branches in the Short North and Clintonville in recent months. A spokeswoman said lack of parking was among the reasons. Those Columbus branches were among the first four Wright-Patt opened upon its return to the Central Ohio market 10 years ago. Branches remain in Upper Arlington and Grandview Yard.
