The Ohio State Controlling Board has approved funds for new training equipment and upgrades to Wright State University. $474,871 has been set aside to buy new workforce-based training equipment to help workforce development and student-centric research in advanced automation, manufacturing, and healthcare. An addition $19,920 was given to the university to fund a project to rehabilitate wells and remove the current water treatment equipment. 'I have always been a strong advocate for Wright State and making investments in developing our workforce,' State Representative Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) said.
